Top 10 NFL Players from the Wisconsin Badgers
Every year colleges scramble and compete with other colleges for high school athletes. A number of colleges dominate the talent pool and Wisconsin is one of them. Here is a list of the top 10 players from Wisconsin to go on and play in the NFL. Stats are based on Pro Bowl appearances and stats including longevity playing in the NFL. 10. Tim Krumrie Krumrie was the 276th pick of the 1983 NFL draft taken by the Bengals. Obviously drafted as low as he was he wasn’t expected to do much in the NFL. The scouts couldn’t have been more wrong. Krumrie played from 1983 1994 and made the Pro Bowl twice. Krumrie played his entire career as a defensive tackle.
9. Nate Odomes Odomes was taken by the Bills in the 1987 NFL draft as the 29th pick. Odomes was a defensive back that played 10 NFL seasons and was elected to play in the Pro Bowl twice.
8. Jim Fraser Fraser played 7 NFL seasons at linebacker in the NFL. Fraser who was taken with the 250th pick by the Browns in the 1959 draft was also a surprise like Krumrie. Fraser played in the NFL from 1962 1968. Fraser made the Pro Bowl 3 times.
7. Elroy Hirsch Hirsch played in the NFL 10 seasons after finishing his career at Wisconsin. Hirsch was drafted as the 5th overall pick by the Rans in the 1945 NFL draft and finished his career in 1957. Hirsch had appeared in 3 Pro Bowls as a running back when his career came cheap nfl jerseys to an end.
6. Al Toon Toon was drafted 10th out of Wisconsin in the 1985 NFL draft. Toon played in the NFL from 1985 1992. Toon was elected to the Pro Bowl 3 times as a wide receiver.

4. Jim Bakken Bakken was a kicker and makes the list based on Pro Bowl appearance and longevity. Bakken was an NFL kicker from 1962 1978 and was taken 88th in the 1962 NFL draft. Bakken made 4 Pro Bowl appearances.
3. Dave Kocourek Kocourek comes in 3rd on the Wisconsin list and was cheap evening dresses a Tight End in the NFL. Kocourek played in the NFL from 1960 1968 and was drafted 223rd by the Steelers in 1959. Kocourek also made the Pro Bowl 4 times.
2. Troy Vincent Vincent was a shut down corner that was initially drafted by the Miami Dolphins. Vincent played in the NFL from 1992 2006 and was taken in the 1992 NFL draft at number 7. Vincent played in 5 Pro Bowls and comes in at number 2.
1. Mike Webster Webster was a cheap nfl jerseys lineman that stood out after being taken late in the 1974 draft at number 125. Webster was a dominating lineman that made a number of pancake blocks and was an NFL player from 1974 1990.
